Bumbinos comes from a simple observation: kids don't relate to bikes as transport or exercise. They relate to them as play.

We know this because we've been making bike accessories for a long time — over fifteen years, through our sister brand Ass Savers. We've seen what cycling means to people who grow up with it. And then we all had kids, and watched something mystical unfold. A bike isn't transport to a child. It's a spaceship. A horse. A getaway vehicle. It's freedom and play and a little bit of power over the world.

So we looked at what was available for kids' bikes — especially parts and accessories — and found a lot of stuff that just treated children like short adults. Functional, fine, but not really theirs. Nothing that felt like it belonged in that world of imagination.

We made Bumbinos to change that. Accessories that kids actually want on their bikes. Designs that feel like they came from the right place — not cheap imagery slapped on, not scaled down from adult gear, but made with the way kids actually think about their bikes.

The logic is pretty simple. Kids who play on bikes grow up riding them. We'd like more of those people in the world.
